Directions to SHK From 220 South take 419 Electric Rd. to Starkey Rd. Turn left on Starkey. Proceed down Starkey, vering right at the T you will then pass Greenbrier Nursery and come to a stop sign at Merriman. Turn left on Merriman, after 1/2 mile Merriman will turn to the right and go under the Blue Ridge Parkway. From that point it will be 3/4 of a mile to Cotton Hill Rd. Take a right on Cotton Hill Rd. and proceed 1/2 mile to Branico Dr. and our sign. Take a left on Branico Dr. and you will find Sleepy Hollow Kennel 1/4 mile up on your left. Alternatives From Salem - Turn right on to Starkey or access Cotton Hill Rd. from 221 coming out from Cave Spring Corners. From 220 South - Take Buck Mountain Rd. past Greenbrier Nursery and turn left on Merriman after railroad tracks. From Bent Mountain - Turn right unto Cotton Hill Rd. from 221. Branico Dr. will be on right after Fort Mason. From Boones Mill/Franklin Co. - take 220 North to Naff Rd. (just South of the Roanoke County line). Naff will wind it's way around to Roanoke County and will turn into Merriman. Cotton Hill Rd. will be on your left. |
